Roaring Meg Retail Park, Stevenage

Signs – Totems Signs

Leading property and construction consultancy Tuffin Ferraby Taylor brought isGroup on board to complete their rebrand of the Roaring Meg Retail Park in Stevenage.

Project Delivery

Roaring Meg was scheduled to undergo a series of improvement projects, with the initial phase focusing on the signage installation of updated signage to align with the park’s rebranding efforts.

isGroup worked in partnership with Tuffin Ferraby Taylor to develop a series of totem signs that met these needs on behalf of Aberdeen Asset Management. isGroup provided all the technical design and structural calculations, ensuring the solutions were manufactured to the correct BSEN1090-2 standards.

Complete solution

The wayfinding plan included three WAY2GO monoliths customised to reflect the retail park’s new branding and help visitors find their way to the newly developed pedestrianised areas. Refurbished totem signs provided visible reminders along the identified routes.

Three six-metre retail totems were fully refurbished by isGroup to advertise major retailers at Roaring Meg, with newly installed backlit illumination maximising visibility day and night and ‘thank you’ graphic messages added to the rear of the totems.

Three post-mounted signs were revamped with the fresh branding to attract passing motorists form the busy nearby roads. Due to the size of the park, this was a critical part of the rebrand.

Phase two consisted of a modern 15m four-sided water tower inspired sign. At 15 metres high Roaring Meg’s new branding illuminates across the retail park and beyond.
