The first stage of a signage project is key to ensuring smooth and efficient delivery throughout.
Following an initial meeting to discuss your signage project, it may be agreed that a site survey is required. Our survey will prioritise safety and accessibility of your site, as well as detailing suitability of sign options and recommending alternatives so that your business complies with safety and accessibility requirements.
No matter what the size of the project, from a single-sign installation to a multi-building public sector estate isGroup’s experienced surveyors can complete a thorough signage audit and provide the detail that allows project planners to deliver the project, to your full satisfaction, the first time – with no surprises that could affect timetables or budgets.
When undertaking an external signage project, it’s critical to consider the potential need for planning guidance.
Planning approval can take upwards of 8-12 weeks, so it’s best to be prepared, especially if alterations to your application are required. Permissions may also be required for working in busy pedestrian areas, or road closures if fitting at street level. isGroup offer a comprehensive planning service which includes application (including artwork and mapping) and planning fees as well as site meetings with planning officers when required.
