Parkway Retail Centre
isGroup was approached by creative wayfinding designers, FRA to deliver an on-brand wayfinding scheme for a new open-style retail venue and mixed-use development, Parkway Shopping Newbury in Berkshire.
Project Delivery
The wayfinding scheme combined traditional and contemporary designs by FRA that complemented the architectural environment. isGroup developed the designs and produced a prototype for the clients’ approval of a cross section of the main totem that showcased the main manufacturing technique, brand detail, lighting and colour to identify any changes required prior to full manufacture.
The full scheme consisted of external LED illuminated wayfinding monoliths, with detailed location maps printed onto glass panels, projecting banner type signs which required structural calculations to provide the correct fixing method, car parking signage and statutory signs.
Being a mixed-use development, isGroup also produced residential signs for the apartment building manufactured from oak to provide the bases with stainless steel numerals and with glass inserts.
