isGroup were approached by Wynne Construction to provide the signage for new industrial units and the Duttons Business Centre in Northwich.
The expansion will take the business park to 10 premises. The development comprises of 4 new state-of-the-art business units providing an additional 1000m2 of commercial spaces. isGroup were tasked with the manufacture and installation of the signage that consisted of external unit signs and an entrance totem sign.
The totem was manufactured from painted folded aluminium panels mounted onto an integral steel frame.
The totem included the white aluminium Cheshire West and Chester logo and business park lettering that was mounted onto individual studs, so the letters were stood off from the face of the totem. This was to give the totem more depth and to make the lettering stand off against the purple background.
This style was replicated throughout the individual unit signage with the unit number made from white aluminium and stood off. The rest of the unit sign was manufactured from painted aluminium panels which were then mounted onto the unit fascia.
Each of the unity signs were required to be 5.5m in height to be able to fulfil this requirement isGroup manufactured the sign into two sections that would interlock once installed and wouldn’t be visible to the public.
The scheme at Duttons Business Centre in Northwich achieved the ranking of ‘excellent’, with a score of 75.4 per cent under the BREEAM rating for new building projects. This means BREEAM rated developments are more sustainable environments that enhance the well-being of the people who live and work in them, help protect natural resources and make for more attractive property investments.
