Connell Wain Associates Limited appointed isGroup as Principal Contractor to create a new, durable signage system, including a five-metre directory sign for Stakehill Industrial Estate, which was to be powered by solar energy.
External Signage
The Stakehill Industrial Estate comprises more than two million square foot of secure commercial space. To easily identify areas of the site isGroup’s signage was required to present zones in different colours.
Designed in conjunction with Architects, Leades Rhodes Walker, a perimeter map was also digitally printed onto the tenant directory which included solar panels for illumination. The directory clearly reflecting this colour coding and marking out separate areas.
To increase the effectiveness of the directory sign it was erected near the main entrance with high footfall.
Durability Branding
As well as providing the directory sign solution, isGroup also produced and installed two eight-metre tall totem signs at the entrance of the estate. These featured Stakehill’s brand graphics as well as a white LED illumination on both sides of the signs.
Each of the totems weighed an impressive four tonnes and were installed under the strict supervision of our SSST& SMSTS qualified installation team.
Conforming to Building Regulations, all signage was manufactured to BS EN1090-2 standard providing a safe and long term branding and wayfinding solution for the client that will stand the test of time.
isGroup arranged and installed the signage using specialist high level access machinery needed for the magnitude of the project.
