Ty Pawb, Wrexham

Ty Pawb, Wrexham

isGroup successfully tendered for the signage element of the project to refurbish the former People’s Market in Wrexham town centre.

The refurbished building, named Ty Pawb (which is the Welsh for “Everyone’s House”) has been transformed beyond recognition from an old market to a vibrant space split into several sections including two galleries, a flexible performance space, a 100 seat theatre, market stalls, office/studios and an art shop.

Project Delivery

isGroup initially surveyed the area to ensure the correct access equipment was available for the sign installations. The main signage consists of white flat cut aluminium letters, displaying ‘Ty Pawb’ and ‘Markets’, ‘Communities’ and ‘Arts’ to the East, North and South elevations at high level with additional white aluminium text at lower levels. The end result is spectacular signage and an appropriate reflection of what has been one of Wrexham’s town’s investment.

Internally, isGroup manufactured and installed a variety of signage consisting of wayfinding vinyl graphics applied to columns and wall spaces, folded aluminium panels with digital prints to face and glazing manifestations.

Installation Made Easy

To assist the client and contractor, isGroup’s dedicated installers worked during the weekend to reduce the amount of disruption levels. All of the installation team are trained to work at height and carry all relevant accreditations.
