isGroup were appointed by To The Point, a London-based graphic and branding design consultancy, to manufacture and install an abacus feature for Twitter’s Dublin HQ.
To The Point’s design concept emphasised the well-known Twitter bird branding. isGroup sourced a durable solid oak wood for both the frame and the Twitter birds.
The team cut fifty Twitter birds, finishing 30 in a natural oak stain and the remainder in a white semi-gloss paint. Each was drilled and then fixed to the abacus frame via steel rods.
We added the perfect finish by laser engraving ‘#Scorebird’ to reference the social network’s famous hashtag feature.
The team also manufactured a unique set of intricate aluminium rings, intertwined to create a 3D effect, for the Wellness Room. The rings were coated with a specialist copper paint for a touch of luxury.
The creative Twitter bird abacus is a beautiful and bespoke piece of office signage, whilst the copper rings are an effective feature that welcomes visitors into the Wellness Room.
