Project Description

When isGroup was approached by Gower Street Estates Ltd to produce signage for an event, the client emphasised that the signage was needed for a “Big Reveal” and it that it must be kept very “hush hush”.

isGroup has provided signage for the Albert Dock and Pier Head in Liverpool for many years. This time, the signs to be installed were to celebrate Liverpool’s waterfront visitor attraction being granted the prestigious title “Royal Albert Dock Liverpool”.

In view of The Albert Dock being renowned for its blustery conditions isGroup recommended that the double-sided banners should be reinforced with an inlay to double the thickness and weight. 12 banners were installed in total and each one was almost 4m tall by 1m wide.

Quickly following on from this banner project came another in the same location. The Clipper Round the World Yacht Race was returning to Liverpool and the dramatic event required equally dramatic publicity banners. 6 in total were installed and they too were significant in proportions, measuring over 3.5m tall. Again isGroup insisted that these banners needed to be reinforced to form a double skin.

isGroup prides itself on its attention to detail and providing signage solutions that are not just aesthetically pleasing but ones that address the practical environmental conditions they will face.
