Strata Florida Abbey is situated on the banks of the River Teifi in Mid Wales. The building of the church took place in 1184 however in 1284 it was damaged by fire and became abandoned during the struggles between the Welsh and English. Of historical importance are the graves of the Welsh Princes, which lie within the grounds.
As it is a Prime Heritage Site, Cadw worked with heritage design consultants, Imagemakers to provide concept designs of the interpretation signs for the site.
As a regular supplier to Imagemakers, isGroup manufactured the heritage panels and installed them around the site with hidden fixings. The signs were manufactured from robust materials to with-stand the external elements
The signs consisted of various sized polycarbonate panels reverse printed and encased with an aluminium painted frame strategically placed to provide historical information throughout the site.
