isGroup was approached by Rhondda Cynon Taf Council to assist with the design concept for a DDA compliant braille and directory signage scheme for the newly built Sobell Leisure Centre in Aberdare.
isGroup’s in house designers developed a customised on-brand signage solution using polycarbonate braille signs, reverse printed to identify the various rooms within the facility. In addition the team manufactured internal acrylic wayfinding signs that were installed along the main corridors and the swimming pool.
Large built up stainless steel letters, manufactured by isGroup were applied to the external cladding of the building. In preparation for the install, isGroup initially completed a site survey to design the best fixing method for the built up letters to be securely positioned onto the external cladding and to advise on the appropriate access machines
isGroup’s dedicated installation team are qualified for working at height which enabled them to arrange the appropriate access machines to complete the required works to a high standard.
The completed signage scheme complements the modern building.
