isGroup was delighted to be commissioned by Denbighshire County Council to supply and install the external signage concept to its new Rhyl Pavilion Theatre which is located on the town’s promenade. The long awaited refurbished Rhyl Pavilion Theatre, completed in January 2018, now benefits from new bi-lingual external signage to enhance its new brand identity.
The premises have undergone a major refurbishment which includes a theatre, remodelling of the entrances, additional car parking and a restaurant called 1891 which refers to the opening date of the original theatre.
isGroup’s technical team liaised with the Architects, Space & Place to ensure that the correct fixing detail was provided to install the letters and mask logo to the cladding.
The letters and Comedy & Tragedy masks were manufactured from descaled stainless steel and painted to the specified colours. The overall height of the signage was over 4 metres on a building 18 metres in height.
isGroup’s installation team surveyed the site to initially ensure the correct access equipment was available. The installers are all trained for Working at Height and have PASMA and MEWP qualifications.
The completed installation provided a modern and highly visible to the Rhyl skyline.
