Early in 2017 isGroup was approached by Jones Lang Lasalle to produce a “shopping list” of signage designs and options for their client, Kingstown Retail Park, Carlisle. The brief was to upgrade and/or replace all existing signage on the park as part of a full re-branding exercise. Following presentation of the options, the refurbishment scheme chosen for budget and environmental reasons and utilised existing structures. By mid-2018 the green light was given and the work began.
In total 7 totems were refurbished. These included 3 double sided totems, 2 V Angle signs and 2 single sided totems. Whilst the heights varied according to the numbers of tenants in each location, most were around 6 metres tall.
The project included refurbishment of frames, installation of new header section flex face boxes with internal illumination, application of new UV printed vinyl panels and in some cases, reducing the height of the existing posts.
The scale of the refurbishment meant that it took the team 2 weeks to complete works. Powered access equipment was required to deliver the full renovation. isGroup’s installation team members are accredited for working at height which enables them to operate the appropriate access machines to complete the required works to a high standard.
The end result is a consistent, smartly themed park and isGroup is delighted to again complete works for another retail park.
