Glan Clwyd Hospital is one of the major hospitals of the Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. Due to recent extensions to the Accident and Emergency facility, isGroup successfully tendered for the new signage requirements.
The isGroup was advised on the best illuminated sign solution to suit the brief which consisted of two new entrances located at the Accident and Emergency and North Wales Cardiac Centre. To prevent undue weight on the newly installed cladding panels, isGroup advised lightweight aluminium lightboxes with a printed flexface skin and LED strips for economical illumination.
The process involved discussing the best available signage options for the hospitals new extension with the client from the start. isGroup ensure only guaranteed materials are used in line with the British Sign Association standards to provide cost effective solutions, longevity and ease of maintenance.
Following the sign manufacture, the installation was performed by isGroup’s dedicated in house experienced installers who are trained for working at height with CSCS, IPAF and PASMA qualifications.
