The architect of the new £100m Eagles Meadow Shopping Centre required a signage scheme throughout the grounds and approached isGroup with the technical details for the glass and slate totems at the two main entrances. The client brief included customised architectural totem signs, a series of wayfinding directories and monoliths and high level illuminated signs.
Working alongside designers of the brand and wayfinding strategy, isGroup produced quality samples and completed structural drawings to ensure the signage was manufactured and installed to the concept designs.
The sculptural totems feature a stainless steel structure with a Welsh slate base and halo-illuminated etch-cut letters into curved glass panels introducing the top retail brands. Two sets of built up Eagles Meadow external letters with internal illumination were affixed at height to the building. The wayfinding monolith signs and directories were screen printed with a filigree pattern to carry through the branding with the addition of a feature blue light strip down each sign.
The signage was installed in time for the opening and at key areas to inter-connect streets and pedestrianised open spaces.
“The production and quality of all signs on site is second to none. Well done to an excellent standard and within the agreed timescales. I would definitely recommend isGroup.” – Centre Manager
