IsGroup was appointed by Cheshire West and Chester to produce thirty-one, 316 grade stainless steel Way2Go Wayfinding posts that would be installed throughout Chester city centre. The signage was further complemented by specially created, shot peened base plates that were applied to all posts to create a high quality look and finish.
In addition to these wayfinding posts, a total of 210 chevron-end fingerposts were manufactured and installed to help people effectively navigate to places of interest in the busy pedestrianised areas of the city centre. Each chevron-end finger featured engraved text on both sides and was elegantly infilled with a highly durable paint to create a consistent high-quality finish.
IsGroup’s Way2Go wayfinding signage was chosen for this fingerpost system as it offers adjustable positioning for each locations’ direction while also offering fully customisable features for the client. Way2Go’s fingerpost design also helps in reducing the environmental impact of signage systems while keeping costs down through the ability to accommodate any future design updates or location changes.
