After successfully providing the signage as part of Leeds City Council wayfinding signage strategy early in 2018, isGroup have once again been appointed by Leeds City Council for the next phase of the Legible Leeds Signage Programme.
The city’s ‘Legible Leeds’ pedestrian signage network has since expanded to 80 on-street signs across the city centre. The network of signs has grown as the city has developed with the continued expansion of the city centre means there is now a need for more signage to ensure new destinations are adequately signed.
Leeds City Council commented on the expansion: “The new extension of the Legible Leeds pedestrian signage network is the largest extension that Leeds City Council has ever done. It reflects the ever changing and growing nature of the city centre.”
After winning a competitive tendering process in 2018. isGroup have proven their quality of work and professionalism throughout the project, which has now resulted in receiving direct appointment by Leeds City Council for the manufacture and installation of the extension phase signage.
Part of the scheme is due to begin on site before Christmas. With a phased roll out of the remaining signage package in the Throughout 2020.
