Lion Yard Shopping Centre Cambridge
IS Group have recently successfully won a contract to
manufacture and install a new signage scheme at the Lion Yard
Shopping Centre, located in Cambridge. The new signage system was
designed by Air Design and consists of a large glass fascia signage
system which involves illuminated letters over each of the main
entrances.
The glass is fitted using state of the art stainless steel
spider fixings. There are twenty nine stainless steel illuminated
projection signs in total and an additional two large glass fixed
banners are also due to be installed in the near future.
The contract includs removing the existing signage system and
updating it by implementing the new signage system and installing
the electrical works relating to the new system. Due to the
sheer size of this project and the weight of the glass used,
structural and glazing engineers were also involved in the
completion of the project.
The project is due to be completed in September 2010.
