IS Group have recently won the manufacture and installation or
the new interpretation signage for the City Walls in Chester.
The signage has been designed by leading interpretation and design
consultancy Imagemakers and consists of bespoke stainless steel
signage with vitreous enamel and Lava Stone interpretation
panels. A lot of thought and care has been mandatory as the
signage is being installed onto the historic walls and close
liaison with English Heritage has been required.
The project is due to complete during 2011.
